The cuts of the meat were nice, overly salted marinate, overly salted sauces and even the kimchi is salty!?Can try once in your lifetime, never again.Whoever rated the overly salted food 5 stars must have a crazy tastebud. Not worth the price too, just go donki and buy the meats and grill.

The only thing edible there is the rice… the meat was VERY weird, the grain of the beef was hashed in a way that it tough like lamb even when it’s still pink( not over cooked at all but it’s so weird that was hard and grainy) , and the fats on the beef it doesn’t melt the way normal fats should, instead, it solidified into hard silicon like texture that my family had to spit out and it looks like sauce and plastic when we spat it out… the sauces weren’t very nice but I was moreBaffled by the quality of meat, it didn’t even seem like it came from a cow… I was mortified I didn’t finish my food (anyway the portions were very tiny so I don’t feel so bad throwing away since it’s only a few sorry piece of meat in the set) and left ASAP… the green tea served nice, and the rice was a saving grace if not I would have just thrown away the whole meal…. Average service average atmosphere so at least that’s good

It’s the flu season so I purposely went at a weekday timing where almost everyone else has finished their lunches. The restaurant is three-quarters empty, yet the server insisted on putting me sandwiched between 4 diners. The proximity is too close in my opinion. I politely asked to be seated elsewhere and said the restaurant is not, and will not be crowded at that time. Server is not flexible and kept pointing at the seat. Will not be eating there again. Many other choices available in Tampines Hub and if you go at odd weekday timing as I did, you’ll be seated comfortably in all the restaurants there. Unlike this Yakiniku place.

If you are eating solo and want to eat halal yakiniku, this is the place for you. They provide solo meals that you can enjoy by yourself. They have various sets that are at mid-range but once you've tasted the meat, you'll realize that you are getting your money's worth. The beef is juicy and very tasty even without the sauce. You can take your own time to grill and eat. I opted to top-up some curry on my rice and 100% it was very delicious! It was not only veggie but had meat on it as well and it was so flavorful and melts in your mouth with the taste of the curry. Definitely on a mid to high price range but the quality of meat is there. They are using a QR menu and ordering so you can take your own time to order and if you want to add more meat, there is an option there. Overall was a good experience as it's my first time to eat solo in a yakiniku place and definitely will come back to date myself there during my me-time 🤣

Standard karubi taste/cut/quality across its outlets.Service was prompt and friendly. As with any yakiniku shokudo, skip the striploin as it is not worth it. Their karubi is good enough for the price being a halal yakiniku place in a mall. This outlet doesn't skimp on the beef dressing as well as dipping sauce compared to the orchard outlet

Nice ambience. Attentive service. Many servers to help out. Many choices of food. Many different type of beef sliced thinly for grilling. Good portion for noodles and plenty of beef inside. Scallop is really good too. Ample parking space.

Ordered the sambal belachan beef set and shokudo set for $38.97 inclusive of service charge. The set meals include side dishes such as kimchi, sauces and seaweed soup.I got to say, the meats were super delicious and well-seasoned and the kimchi was delicious too (much better than Yakiniku Like). Although both brands are relatively similar in terms of menu and flavours, what differentiates the both is the seasoning of the meat and side dishes! Surprisingly, even the belachan was delicious and paired very well with the meats!Service was excellent - the staff were courteous and attentive which is a plus point!Overall, very worth the price and will come back again soon!

The self-service Yakiniku restaurant wasn't as satisfying as I had hoped. The meat portions were quite small for the price I paid, which left me feeling a bit disappointed. Moreover, the waitress seemed rather impatient while taking my order. However, despite these shortcomings, the restaurant was still quite crowded. I believe the reason behind the crowd is its halal certification, attracting a significant number of diners.

First time and last time to this place. Mediocre food, small quantity, low quality and overpriced. The beef karubi is literally half the thickness of a usual yakiniku restaurant. The rest of the beef we ordered were full of tendons, sinewy and tasteless. We ordered chicken and the quantity is a joke. The supposedly 160g cut feels like an appetizer. So in the end we had to order extra cuts. For 3 adults and 2 kids, we spent over $140. I would rather go to Gyukaku at Tampines One for their higher quality. It is so disappointing as I thought they will rival Yakiniku Lite but no, they are miles apart.

They have quite a lot of seats and it’s not crowded during lunch hour. The quality of meat is better than it’s competitor but u can’t choose the amount of rice you want. Kimchi is not so good that comes in the set. Overall is ok but clothes stinks when I walk out… meaning the ventilation need to be improved.
